Wondering what all the customers saw in this restaurant, not the food my wife and I ordered. First the good, coffee is strong, if you like McDonalds coffee you will love theirs. My wife had Parma Hash, Italian sausage had a overpowering sage taste and was crumbled to the point where you couldn't pick it out of the potatoes. She asked me to help her finish her plate but after one bite I said no thank you. I had the Avocado, Bacon, and Tomato Hash with two eggs basted. Plate came with one egg yoke broken and over cooked. Three of the smallest pieces of avocado I have seen and a majority of potatoes that were tasteless. With coffee and a tip the bill was close to $30. I'll make the extra drive to the Sunflower Cafe from now on. They may have decent food here, what we ordered was not worth coming back. Waitress was friendly, side of fruit cup was the only bright spot of this breakfast.

Super breakfast. Had their day glow juice-delicious. Great menu and wonderful food. A must if you are in the Ft Myers area.

I just enjoyed a nice lunch here, half a Beefeater sandwich and a half Cobb salad. Delicious! Prior to today I had only been here for breakfast, always excellent. Everything is super fresh. Lots more things on the menu I want to try!

They did it again! Another great breakfast--came out hot and in a speedy fashion! These folks have consistent good service and great food! Their English Muffins are especially good!

A very good place for breakfast! There were many options and price and atmosphere was great. Recommend fresh orange juice.

This is a really nice place. They have a gluten free menu which is great for me with celiacs. I really enjoyed their food and service and the prices are really reasonable.

Great place to go for breakfast, easy to get to, location is near so many stores. Try the Tri-Athelete or the Power Wrap if you're feigning egg whites with a healthy kick. Healthy Turkey and Lean Machine are great tasting as well. Unlimited coffee and water equal a great breakfast.

I am really upset it took us this long to find First Watch. The food is mind-blowingly good, the service is really friendly and honest, and the atmosphere is actually quite nice despite the crazy-busyness of the restaurant. Be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes for breakfast, they are very good and the word is out! Be sure to mention it is your first time, they have a little fruit desert you get for free!! We WILL be back, no question.

The best breakfast experience I've found so far in Fort Myers. If you're looking for a traditional breakfast try the triathlete!

Nothing gluten free about this place. Staff treated me poorly when I asked about gluten free options.

My favorite breakfast place in Ft Myers. Great grilled English muffin. Great friendly service at a reasonable price. Very clean and free wi-fi.

We had breakfast here around 9 am in May, so it wasn't very crowded - only local Floridians. We had an omelet and a crepe. Both came with home fries (ugh, not again!), an English Muffin slathered with butter and, of course the ingredients that we ordered for the omelet & crepe. A featured item in my omelet was to be chorizo sausage and I only saw one minuscule piece - SAY LAH VEE. I must say the service was outstanding, although the food itself was very ho hum. Workmanlike is quality & presentation, but certainly nothing special.

My first few visits were lovely, but like any love affair, the flaws began to surface. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive. The coffee is not the best, for me. It is ok if you appreciate acidic, lightly flavored roasts. The choices are refreshing for the average Ft Myers breakfasts. Nothing is super expensive or terribly complicated so a nice stop if looking for something not so fancy but quality fare. Don't order the potatoes though... you will receive a large mountain of dry, flavorless, cubes. Go with an english muffin but eat it quickly, before it hardens into coasters. I will go again, of course..

quick service. attentive and not overbearing wait staff. when you order "over easy eggs" the eggs are cooked perfectly. AND pricing is reasonable! How can you beat that!

First Watch is by far one of my favorite breakfast places ever!! As a NY/NJ girl that grew up around diners constantly, this is a great alternative to regular ole diner food! My parents used to have a condo in Ft. Myers so we used to get here when we could and unfortunately that's not too often anymore. Just got back from a trip to the Ft. Myers area with my boyfriend and the first thing we did when we got off the plane (had a 7am flight from JFK, yikes!) was go to first watch. I had to let him try the same yummy food I've been talking about for so long and he loved it! I love that you can order breakfast or lunch anytime of day! The service is always great, friendly servers and very efficient - because it was his first time there, they gave him a complimentary fruit crepe which was a cute touch. Prices are great, definitely not too expensive and the wait is never that long - average age of patrons is about 70 :-) I had the Grilled Turkey sandwich, my first lunch item there and it was awesome! The turkey wasn't dry and the flavors with the bacon and cheese were nice. Diet friendly this is not, but hey, I was on vacation! I love the home fries here as they are always crunchy - I hate soggy icky home fries!! What I loved about this sandwich is it came with not only some fruit but also their little tomato cucumber salad which was very refreshing. The skillets are so terrible for your health but delicious and we had quite a few omelettes (egg whites bc I hate regular eggs) Bacado & Avocado Express are great. The coffee is very tasty and I love that you can get just one pancake when you get the pancake craving but know you could never eat a whole stack - Chocolate chip was standard good but cranberry nut was awesome. Till next time First Watch....

Great food and quality service. I Had the avocado bacon hash and my wife had the florentine style eggs Benedict. Both tasted great, fresh, and were very filling. Direct quote from the wife on this meal, "winning". It's a great place to grab a meal to start the day, be sure to get in a little early as there can be a little bit of a wait.

BLT Benedict? One of the specials featured for the day. Tasted just like a delicious BLT with poached eggs and hollandaise, or just like a super, wonderful BLT with the best tomato of the summer. I love First Watch in any city along I-75. I'm a huge fan and they rarely disappoint. I agree with another post, coffee is a miss, but I always get iced tea. Wheat germ pancake is crunchy wonderful. I'll keep telling you, get in there!

I don't understand why this place is so highly rated. Blah coffee, ok service, omelettes nothing to write home about, and wide open space. It's like a coulda woulda been homestyle restaurant that went commercial and lost flavor and atmosphere. I would have been better off staying home to cook. Biscuits no big deal. Omelettes no better than Perkins or Denny's. No thanks.

Great place for breakfast! The service was pretty good, the host at the front was great!! The food was awesome! I'm glad we arrived when we did.. Around 10am. By 10:30am, there was a line out the door. Speaks volumes! I recommend to all!

Don't have time for detailed review but wow ! What chain breakfast restaurants in a modern health aware society should aspire to be. I wish we had this in gulf breeze Florida. Juiced carrot and ginger, kale salads, avocado and egg over whole grains. We have wild roots on the beach but they don't have the on site seat in and vibe to really take off.

Usually fresh food. Not organic or anything, but for industrial "food" in the USA., this restaurant isn't too bad. Worth a visit. People are nice. Usually have to wait for a table. I hear the pancakes are good. Never will wait.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Fort Myers, hands down. The service is always very friendly and I have NEVER been given a hard time about my order (tons of changes and substitutions). The food is fresh and there are plenty of healthy options. I only wish that it weren't so jam packed during season, because it can take two hours to get a table.

Food here is good and service is great. I'm always greeted with a pot of coffee & I like that the menu offers healthy dishes and still flavorful.

Totally acceptable breakfast place. Only gets three instead of four because it's nothing you haven't seen before. They have a tiny seasonal menu that means they're trying, but the rest of their offerings are so generic that it could put foodies like me to sleep. Their iced coffee is like.. $4? Something like that. It comes pre-sweetened and doesn't include refills, and was like %70 ice. So when I was told my coffee party was about to end, I flat out took the CARAFE of coffee they left my dining partner and asked for some milk. I made my own, free of charge. And it was arguably better. That being said, service was great and the vibe was relaxing. Obviously full of locals just wanting to get some breakfast, coffee, and read the paper. I ordered ala carte (even though they don't really have a section of the menu for that) and they backed me up. I would go again, no problem.

My father loves this joint and after his ravings, he brought me here and now I'm a fan myself! Service is friendly with servers who are clearly morning people (they open early so that makes sense). I like how they give you pitchers of water/coffee when you order any of those drinks; makes it convenient so you don't have to ask for any refills. It's also nice they keep the sweeteners, creams and condiments on the table so you don't have to ask for those as well. Food is delicious, unique and with character. Their omelettes, especially the works and the baconator are my favorite. Plus their fruit sides are fresh and refreshing. If breakfast isn't your thing, they have solid sandwiches and salads which can be entrees or a "pick 2" type of deal. Plus prices are very friendly on the wallet so you can enjoy a nice meal without breaking the bank. Overall a solid spot for brunch/breakfast or a light meal. Just make sure you show up early cause they shut down at 2:30 PM!

I have been to First Watch plenty of times and I don't know why I am just writing this now. For anyone who doesn't know, First Watch is a brunch/lunch type place. I usually don't like big chain restaurants because I find their food overly fatty, salty, ect.. However, First Watch is a very nice surprise. They have a large assortment of healthy breakfasts to choose from. If you would rather have dessert for breakfast (i.e. pancakes covered in syrup), they got you covered too. Out of the ones I have been too, they are all staffed by friendly employees. This is one of the few places where I can say I have never had a bad experience. I really enjoy going here for weekend brunch.
